Decathlon Sports Ireland ltd whose registered office is at 51 Bracken Road Sandyford D18 CV 48 Dublin is offering a "Decathlon Reviews Service" for the products and services presented on the website www.decathlon.ie
Decathlon Sports Ireland belongs to "GROUP Decathlon." This is the company Decathlon SA and all companies owned by it, directly or indirectly, at least 10% of the capital or voting rights (hereinafter referred to as "Affiliates Decathlon" or "GROUP Companies Decathlon ").
Submitting an opinion is reserved to users (hereafter the "Visitor" or "User") of services or products (hereafter the "Product") presented on the websites of Decathlon Companies or Decathlon brands.
Users of the Decathlon Opinion Service agree to comply with these conditions and declare that they accept these conditions in full.

What is the purpose of the Decathlon Reviews Service?
The Decathlon Reviews Service lets Users share their feedback on the offers present on the websites of the Group Companies Decathlon with others. These comments are made available to Visitors on the aforementioned sites when they view a web page featuring the offer which has been commented on.

How can I submit a review?
To submit a comment, a Visitor must fill in certain mandatory fields, including contact information that is not visible or accessible to other website Visitors.
Visitors must provide Group Companies Decathlon with exact data on their identity and refrain from unlawful appropriation of the identity of any third party or entity.

What are the conditions for publishing a review?
You may include only text in your comments. Your comments must contain your personal opinion; you may not copy or reuse what someone else has written. Once you have sent in your comments, your opinion will be published within five worked days on all partner websites of Group Companies Decathlon proposing the Product you commented on. Visitors recognise that, for technical reasons, it may take more than five worked days to publish their opinion on the aforementioned Decathlon websites. When posting your opinions and comments on the Decathlon Reviews Service, you hereby recognise that they will be made public and you grant the Group Companies Decathlon and their duly authorised partners the right to use, store, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and display the contents of the opinion, in full or in part, and/or comment within the context of possible protection under intellectual property law which may apply to them, and to use the last and/or first name that you supply with the opinion or the comment for all purposes, in particular for commercial and advertising purposes, on all supports, especially Internet, emailing (hard copy and/or online), displays, signage, point-of-sale advertising, leaflets, advertising, magazines, television and radio broadcasts and similar supports, throughout the world and for a ten-year duration.

The email address used to submit a review may be used to link a Decathlon customer account, if the author has one.

How to write a pertinent and useful review
Certain rules should be followed when using this service: Your comments must be relevant and sincere; consider the utility of your opinion for Visitors who are considering buying the relevant Product. You must not merely state whether or not you liked a Product; you should explain the pros and cons of the offer in question (technical and ergonomic appeal, appearance, etc.). You may also relate your personal experience with the Product, as well as provide ideas on how to improve it.
In order to guarantee the quality of our Decathlon Reviews Service, the User agrees to write comments on a Product that the User has effectively tested or used.

Refrain from the following in your comments (non-exhaustive list):
• Refrain from making comments of an advertising or commercial nature.
• If you give an opinion on a Product, it must only involve the actual Product, not the services related to the Product (delivery, price, availability etc.) or your relationship with the sales assistant.

• Refrain from making comments which do not guarantee User anonymity (eg: mentioning names).

Decathlon reserves the right to withhold publication of an opinion that is contrary to these conditions without informing the User. Similarly, Decathlon reserves the right to remove an opinion that Decathlon considers to be in conflict with these conditions and current regulations, at all times and without previous notice.
Decathlon shall not be held responsible for the contents written by Users of the Decathlon Reviews Service, nor for any request from third parties related to the content of published comments.
A "Report Abuse" page is available for reporting all comments or messages that you feel are inappropriate or in violation of these conditions.
